Dental Implants

Dental implants are one of the most significant advances in dentistry in recent years. If you have missing or damaged teeth, dental implants are the next best thing to your own natural teeth and provide many advantages that can help change the way you look, feel and live your life, including:

  • Improved appearance
  • Improved oral health
  • Improved confidence & self-esteem

A dental implant is used to support one or more false teeth. It is a titanium screw that can replace the root of a tooth when it fails. Just like a tooth root, it is placed into the jawbone.

A single dental implant is made up of three components: The titanium screw that is placed in to the jawbone, an abutment that fits within the titanium screw and a dental crown that is fitted over the abutment.

People of all ages and walks of life can loose teeth through accidents, decay, gum disease and lifestyle factors. Dental implants are the solution of choice whether you are young, middle-aged or more senior. With the exception of growing children, in most cases there are dental implant solutions to replace one tooth, several teeth, or all your teeth.
